Ⅲ. Heat Treatment Specifications
- Annealing: Hold at 845-870°C followed by furnace cooling; hardness is about 156 HB, improving machinability.
- Quenching: Austenitize at 845-870°C then oil or water quench to obtain martensitic microstructure.
- Tempering: Select temperature between 200-650°C according to application requirements for tailored strength-toughness combinations:
- Low-temperature tempering (200-300°C): High hardness and strength, low toughness.
- Medium-temperature tempering (300-500°C): Optimal balanced strength and toughness.
- High-temperature tempering (500-650°C): High toughness with moderate strength.
- Forging: Initial forging temperature at approximately 1200°C, final forging temperature ≥850°C.

OEM Investment casting Services , also known as lost wax casting, is a casting method in which a pattern is made of a melt-able material, then coated with several layers of refractory material to form a shell, and the pattern is melted away after high-temperature firing, and then the molten metal is poured into the shell.
Investment casting have high precision and high surface quality, with small machining allowances, which can achieve less or no machining requires. Investment casting can cast complex thin-walled parts with complex shapes (the minimum wall thickness can reach 0.25-0.4mm), and the smallest hole diameter can reach 2.5mm.
