  • Material Characteristics: The Cu – Ni 70/30 alloy, consisting of 70% copper and 30% nickel, has excellent seawater corrosion and erosion resistance, good thermal conductivity and thermal stability. The Cu – Ni 90/10 alloy also has good corrosion resistance, and its density is about 0.323 lb/in³, with a melting point of 2260°F, tensile strength of 50,000 psi, and elongation of 30%.
  • Common Specifications: Dimensions usually comply with ANSI/ASME B16.9, B16.28, MSS – SP – 43, etc. Specifications include ASTM B122, B171, B466, etc. The common size range is from 1/2″ to 24″ in outer diameter, and the wall thickness covers various schedules such as Sch10, Sch20, etc.
  • Product Types: There are various types, including 90 – degree and 45 – degree elbows, equal and unequal tees, concentric and eccentric reducers, crosses, pipe end caps, etc. They can be made into seamless, welded or fabricated types.
  • Application Fields: Widely used in shipbuilding, offshore oil and gas, desalination plants and other industries. Due to their good biocompatibility, they are also applicable to drinking water systems, and can be used in condensers and power plant systems due to their thermal stability.
