What Is GJS-400-15 Casting?
GJS-400-15 Casting is a fully ferritic ductile iron grade defined in EN 1563, known for 15% minimum elongation and superior impact toughness at low temperatures. It is the European counterpart to GGG40 (DIN 1693), QT400-15 (GB/T 1348) and ASTM A536 60-40-18 — designed where shock absorption, machinability and reliability matter more than extreme tensile strength.
