CF8 Investment Casting Services
Leesh Holdings is a specialized CF8 Investment Casting manufacturer producing high-quality CF8 (cast 304) stainless steel parts for valve, pump, food, pharmaceutical and marine industries — from prototype to volume production, with full inspection and machining capabilities.
What Is CF8 Stainless Steel?
CF8 Investment Casting produces the cast equivalent of wrought 304 stainless steel, defined under ASTM A351 with 18–21% chromium and 8–11% nickel. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability and strong low-temperature toughness — a cost-effective choice for general corrosive service across a wide range of industries.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance
Resists atmospheric corrosion, fresh water, mild acids and alkalis — dependable in general corrosive service.
High Strength & Toughness
Minimum 485 MPa tensile strength with outstanding impact toughness even at low temperatures.
Near-Net-Shape Precision
Investment casting delivers complex geometries with tight tolerances and smooth surface finish.
Full Traceability
Heat-lot traceability, chemical spectro analysis and mechanical test reports per batch.
CF8 Chemical Composition
Conforming to ASTM A351 / A351M. Single values are maximum percentages unless shown as a range.
| Element | Content (%) | Element | Content (%) |

| Carbon (C) | ≤ 0.08 | Chromium (Cr) | 18.0 – 21.0 |
| Manganese (Mn) | ≤ 1.50 | Nickel (Ni) | 8.0 – 11.0 |
| Silicon (Si) | ≤ 2.00 | Molybdenum (Mo) | Not specified |
| Phosphorus (P) | ≤ 0.04 | Sulfur (S) | ≤ 0.04 |
International equivalents: CF8 ≡ 304 (wrought) ≡ 1.4308 / GX5CrNi19-10 (EN 10283) ≡ SCS13 (JIS G5121) ≡ ZG08Cr18Ni9 (GB/T 2100) ≡ UNS J92600.

CF8 vs CF8M — How to Choose
Both grades share the same strength levels. The deciding factor is the service media.
| Grade | Wrought Equivalent | Molybdenum | Corrosion Resistance | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CF8 | 304 | — | General corrosive service | Water, mild chemicals, food, cost-sensitive projects |
| CF8M | 316 | 2.0 – 3.0% | Superior in chlorides & acids | Seawater, chemical, marine environments |
