CF8M Stainless Steel Investment Casting Services
Leesh Holdings manufactures high-quality CF8M (cast 316) stainless steel investment castings for pump, valve, chemical, food and marine industries — from prototype to volume production, with full inspection and machining capabilities.
What Is CF8M Stainless Steel?
CF8M is the cast equivalent of wrought 316 stainless steel, defined under ASTM A351. The addition of 2.0–3.0% molybdenum gives CF8M significantly better resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride attack than CF8 (cast 304) — making it the preferred choice for aggressive media in chemical and marine environments.
Superior Corrosion Resistance
Molybdenum addition resists chlorides, seawater and acidic media — ideal for harsh service conditions.
High Strength & Toughness
Minimum 485 MPa tensile strength with excellent low-temperature impact toughness.
Near-Net-Shape Precision
Investment casting delivers complex geometries with tight tolerances and smooth surface finish.
Full Traceability
Heat-lot traceability, chemical spectro analysis and mechanical test reports per batch.
CF8M Chemical Composition
Conforming to ASTM A351 / A351M. Single values are maximum percentages unless shown as a range.
